Human Rights Day

Human Rights Day is the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

It is celebrated around the world with political and social conferences and special events on human rights issues.

Often the United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights and Nobel Peace Prize are awarded on the same day.
