International Women’s Day Edinburgh Protest

Assemble in the High Street by the Mercat Cross for a march to the Scottish Parliament where there will be speakers from:

• Living Rent Scotland
• Women´s Aid East and Midlothian
• Kurdish Women Initiative + Union of Socialist Women
• Public and Commercial Services Union
• Student Union LGBTQ+ and Trans and Non-Binary Students officers

Followed by a performance of Catalan Human Towers!

A statement from the IWDE organising committee reads: “From the rise of fascism to attacks on women’s bodily autonomy, 2025 has already given us enough reason to take to the streets. We are inviting feminists of all genders to join us on March 8 for the 2025 International Women’s Day March as we join women all over the world to have our voices heard!”
