Given the upcoming snap Westminster election we are combining the AGM and Campaign planning
This is your chance to stand to be part of the sub-branch committee, vote on office bearers for the year ahead and to propose any motions you want to put to the sub-branch. It is also a great opportunity to find out more about what Green members and councillors in Central Edinburgh have been up to over the past year.
We are looking for new committee members and volunteers! Roles include:
If you would like to discuss any of these roles or have suggestions for a motion, please contact us at ceg@scottishgreens.org.uk.
All Central Edinburgh members are very welcome, but we would especially love to be joined at the AGM by new members to the Scottish Green Party or Central Edinburgh.
The AGM will begin at 7.30pm with teas and coffees available from 7.15pm (free of charge). After a short break, the last 40 minutes will be dedicated to planning the Westminster campaign within the CEG sub-branch.
After the meeting we will go for a drink at the neighbouring George IV pub.
The meeting will be in person with the option to join on Zoom (see below).
The meeting is at Augustine United Church. You can find information about venue accessibility here. There is wheelchair-enabled lift access to The Mull Meeting room.
The meeting will also be accessible online via Zoom and closed captions will be enabled. Look out for details of how to join the AGM meeting in CEG sub-branch emails; let us know at ceg@scottishgreens.org.uk if you are missing these.
The George IV pub is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets.
If you have any communications support needs or other accessibility queries, please email us in advance of the meeting: ceg@scottishgreens.org.uk
