Scottish Greens’ Update Session: Climate Change Bill – MSP Group update and next steps

The Scottish Government has announced its intention to bring forward new legislation to update Scotland’s legal framework for tackling climate change. Proposals include adopting a new carbon budget approach to replace interim climate targets and to amend the timing of future Climate Change Plans.

With the Bill expected to be introduce to Parliament in September, Patrick Harvie and Mark Ruskell invite party members to join this discussion session about the Green MSP Group’s approach to the Bill and where MSPs will be calling for greater ambition.
